Hi folks!  Here's the scoop on the weekend picnic at my   place in July. This will be the Thirteenth summer we have had a chat meet on the farm.  This is a great way to get together, meet the people   you have been chatting with and generally let your hair down, kick back and   have a good time for a couple of days.  Let's make this year the   best one yet!     ........grin........ Where:  Smokey's farm and playground (grin),   Welch  Hill Road , Ripley July 31, however there's lots of space, so if   anyone wants to come early or stay late, they are welcome. 

Who's invited:  
Old Lycos, Life and Coping, 40's chatters. DewDads Web chatters. Facebook friends,  Spouses and/or significant others are also welcome.  (preferably one or the   other ..............hmmmmmmmm)
This is a family event, so bring along   your varmits or rugrats...... )

Activities:     
In the past we have kept the weekend informal (in other words,   unorganized ...lol...)  although there are lots of activities available   including horseback riding, winery tours, flea markets, etc.  Also if   anyone has volleyball or badmitten sets, bring them along.  (uh....  supersoakers are a highly recommended .....   hehehehehe ........)  We are looking into the possibility of a hayride.  If you have   other ideas, please let us know.

Meals:     
The pig roast will be served on Saturday afternoon.  Other meals   are strictly informal.  In the past, everyone kicked in to make   meals onsite or we all went to local restaurants.  If you are   travelling large distances, don't worry about packing food as there are local   stores nearby.

Accommodations:
This is a totally   rustic site, so if you plan to stay at the campgrounds, bring your own sleeping   accommodations (ie: tent, camper, etc.) or if you aren't into   camping, there are motels locally.  Restroom facilities are provided .............sorta .........  (it's a one-holer)

Travel arrangements:
If you plan to   fly in, Erie airport is approximately 40 miles and
Buffalo is   approximately 70 miles from the campsite.

If you are driving, go to http://www.mapquest.com/,  address for starting point and type in Welch Hill Road , Ripley , NY    14775 as destination.  (if you want a specific map of the campground campground area, email me at: mailto:dreamfinder@excite.com.  Please let us know if you are willing to carpool as there are people from   fairly good distances that would like to come if they could ride with   someone else.  We will try to help you make pooling arrangements.
